    Old meets new, this snack bar takes traditional dutch cuisine and gives it a contemporary twist. The frikandel is a deep-fried delight and there is no better introduction than Tante Nel's organic take on the classic treat. For the truly adventurous, you'll find all kinds of surprises amongst this traditional fare, including their indulgent Dutch fries with Tzar Caviar.

    Urban Espresso Bar

    Coffee Shop

    Tracing its roots back to Rotterdam's first coffee bar, opened in 2001, UEB is a treat for the coffee-lovers of Rotterdam. They offer one of the city's best cappuccinos, using their personal espresso blend from Giraffe Coffee Roasters topped with silky foam. You'll also find cakes, traditional Dutch pea soup, and a Moroccan super burger on the menu.

    Art Museum

    The Kunsthal is the artistic heart of Rotterdam. With constantly rotating series of exhibits, there's always something to surprise you here. The building is an icon of modern architecture and inside you'll find everything from 20th century masters to contemporary art.

    One of the newest street food bars in Rotterdam, Scharrels en Schuim specialises in mouth-watering chicken cooked on a spit, craft beers, and the finest gins. It makes for the perfect, unpretentious dinner spot.

    Burger Joint

    Winner of the Netherlands' illustrious Best Burger Award in 2015, Ter Marsch & Co. offers a burger unlike any you've had before. Despite being over 125 years old, these burger wizards have never stopped innovating, serving dry aged Wagyu beef on a homemade bun.
